Companies in the health technology sector, as well as their direct and indirect suppliers, specialized providers of services, research facilities and training institutions can become partners in the Health Technology Cluster.

To take part in the network, a charge is made, covering a part of the cluster’s annual financing requirement. These contributions by partners (fixed annual contributions) are subject to an annual adjustment in value; for 2008 they are as follows:

€ 280.-- for the smallest of companies (nine employees or less)
€ 555.-- for small to medium-sized enterprises (SME’s*)
€ 1,110.-- for large companies (250 employees or more) (fee excluding Value Added Tax) 

* Definition of SME: The EU defines small to medium-sized enterprises (SME’s) as follows: fewer than 250 employees, less than 40 million Euro in turnover and the share held in the company (by another, large company or companies) does not exceed 25%.
